Our Policies

Transparency is important to us. Here you’ll find clear information about how we operate.

Privacy

Juicebox is committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only the information necessary to provide our cleaning services, including your name, contact information, address, and booking details.

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required to fulfill your booking (such as payment processing through Square). Your data is stored securely and is only accessible to our team members who need it to provide service.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us directly.

Terms of Service

By using our website or booking a service, you agree to these terms. Juicebox provides professional cleaning services for car seats, strollers, wagons, and boosters. All services are subject to availability.

You are responsible for ensuring that the items you provide for cleaning are in a condition that can be safely cleaned using our methods. We reserve the right to decline service for items that pose a health or safety risk to our team.

All bookings are confirmed only after successful payment. Prices are shown clearly before checkout and are final at the time of booking.

Cancellation & Refund

You may cancel or reschedule your booking up to 12 hours before your scheduled pickup window at no charge. Cancellations made within 12 hours of the pickup window may be subject to a cancellation fee.

If we need to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, illness, etc.), you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Service Area & Limitations

We currently provide service in the Southeast Twin Cities area of Minnesota. If you are outside our normal service area, please contact us — we may still be able to accommodate you for an additional travel fee.

Biohazards

We do handle common biological situations such as vomit, urine, and feces. Please note, these situations require additional sanitation procedures and care, so a biohazard fee applies per item due to the extra time, materials, and handling involved. These services also extend the normal turnaround time. For safety and effectiveness, we ask that any solid waste be removed as thoroughly as possible before pickup. Please disclose any bio contamination at the time of booking so we can properly prepare and clean your gear in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.

We do not clean gear with visible mold or mildew, or gear that has been exposed to active pest or parasitic infections. Please ask if you need clarification on this before booking!

We are unable to clean items that are heavily soiled with hazardous materials, excessive pet waste, or items that cannot be safely transported. In these cases, we will contact you before pickup.

Expired, Recalled, or Damaged Gear

We cannot service items that are expired, under recall, damaged, or have been involved in a collision.

Adaptive or Medically Customized Gear

At this time, we service standard, manufacturer-issued baby gear only. We are not equipped to clean adaptive equipment, medically modified items, or custom mobility devices, as these require specialized care and handling procedures. If you’re unsure whether your item qualifies, please contact us before booking—we’re happy to help clarify.

Liability

While we take great care with every item, Juicebox is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, or issues that arise from the natural aging of materials. We recommend inspecting your items upon return.

By booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to our Release & Waiver of Liability (presented during the booking process).

Car Seat Disassembly

We do not fully disassemble car seats. Your child’s safety comes first. We only remove the parts necessary for cleaning and do not fully take apart car seats.

We carefully remove only the fabric covers and soft components where applicable for cleaning. All structural components and safety mechanisms remain intact and are cleaned in place.

Harness & Thread Straps

On most car seats you do have to at least partially remove or loosen the harness straps to fully remove the fabric cover. But it depends on the specific seat model.

Many seats let you loosen the harness all the way, unhook the straps from the splitter plate on the back, slide the cover off, then re-thread the straps through the exact same slots. We document everything during the process so that the fabric cover is put back on correctly and safely.
